About me and how I work

I’m an award-winning photographer with a track record of creating powerful portrait and documentary images for purpose-led corporates, charities and community organisations.

I was one of the winners of the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain Award in 2024, and was shortlisted in 2021. I recently completed work on a portrait photography book to destigmatise loneliness, which will be published by The School of Life in late 2025.

Whether you need some updated professional portraits of your board, fresh images for your latest impact review or team photos for your website, I make sure the process is always relaxed and enjoyable - because that’s the best way to make sure you get a great set of images.

My recent clients include The Baytree Centre, Bioregional, The Centre for Progressive Policy, Ergon Associates, The Ethical Trading Initiative, Glovers Solicitors, The Hill Group, Pecan, the Peckham Peculiar Newspaper, the Overseas Development Institute, Socius, Salmon Youth Centre and Willmott Dixon.

Prior to becoming a photographer in 2020 I spent more than 2 decades working in sustainability communications - so I know how important a strong set of images is to telling your organisation’s story.

When I’m not taking photos you can find me dipping into the clear blue waters of Brockwell Lido in south London.

Thanks so much for taking some fabulous headshots for us Julia. You made everyone so comfortable, even Santi the office dog.
